The Wort Hog pump is used for Homebrewing. This pump, which has a stainless steel head, is typically used to transfer both hot and cold liquid between brewing vessels. It is important to note that it is not a self-priming pump so DO NOT RUN DRY! The pump head must be flooded with liquid prior to turning on the pump.

The pump is also magnetically driven which helps you control the flow rate by adding a ball valve on the discharge side of the pump.

A perfect pump for transferring your hot or cooled wort from vessel to vessel. Also a very good idea if you use a counterflow wort chiller or a Hop Rocket.

The Wort Hog pump functionally is the same as a Chugger pump, but with the following advantages:

• Quieter
• Higher flow rate
• Smaller
• Safer than traditional AC pumps
